The Saint Louis University Center for Cancer Prevention, Research and Outreach (CCPRO) will host a community forum on HPV, titled "Do You Know the Truth about HPV? Helping Your Community Understand Human Papillomavirus and Its Link to Cancer," from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, in Il Monastero. This event is free and open to the public.
Take part in a morning of learning and sharing about this important health concern. Community leaders, health providers and advocates will gain the tools to help their community and clients understand Human Papillomavirus (HPV), its link to cervical, head and neck, and other cancers, resources for vaccination and screening available to organizations and the communities, as well as learn strategies for raising community awareness.
