The John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University and the Aquinas Institute of Theology will present "The Business of Life" at a series of programs from September 2013 to March 2014.
Formerly known as the Aquinas Roundtable, the "Business of Life" is a lunchtime presentation and dialogue series for men and women interested in exploring the intersection of faith and spirituality in the marketplace.
Each session will be presented by a faculty member from SLU's John Cook School of Business in dialogue with faculty from the Aquinas Institute of Theology.
The series begins Tuesday, Sept. 17, with a discussion on the topic "Faith Based Health Care: Mission and Margin," featuring Heather Bednarek, Ph.D., chair of the economics department at SLU; and Brian Smith, senior director of mission integration and leadership formation for the Catholic Health Association of the United States (CHA).
Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. with the lecture starting at noon. The registration fee, which includes lunch, is $25.00.
The programs will be held at the Sheraton Clayton Plaza Hotel, 7730 Bonhamme. Parking is free of charge.
