The Women's Commission is honored to announce the names of eight extraordinary workers chosen to represent Saint Louis University and who will be recognized at the annual YWCA Leader Lunch from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 at the Millennium Hotel St. Louis.
This year's Leader Lunch honorees are:
Carol Beckel, assistant professor of physical therapy at Doisy College of Health Sciences
Susan Bloomfield, development director at Parks College of Aviation, Engineering and Technology
Kelly Dineen, J.D., assistant dean for Academic Affairs at the School of Law
Judith Durham, Ph.D., associate professor of chemistry at the College of Arts and Sciences
M. Brigid Holloran-Schwartz, M.D., associate professor of OB/GYN at the School of Medicine
Joya Uraizee, Ph.D., associate professor of English at the College of Arts and Sciences
Sara van den Berg, Ph.D., English academic department chair at the College of Arts and Sciences
Angela Walmsley, Ph.D., associate professor of public service in the College of Education and Public Service
Recognizing the commitment and contributions of working women across the St. Louis Area has been a tradition of the YWCA for 31 years.
Women nominated for this honor have exhibited a high level of achievement, demonstrated significant professional growth, leadership and produced valuable contributions through her skills or efforts for the University and beyond.
