Communication of ResultsIn order to communicate the audit issues noted in the review, UAS will distribute a draft report to management. Included as part of the report is an Executive Summary describing the overall scope, objective, and significant audit issues.
Within the body of the text, UAS describes in more detail the objective, scope, and audit issues that are associated with the engagement.
In many cases, UAS requests that management review the draft report, suggest clarification on any points that appear inaccurate or unclear, and provide responses to any and all issues outlined in the body of the report.
After management has had a chance to review the draft report and respond to any audit issues, any necessary revisions, as well as management's responses, are incorporated into the report. The final report is then distributed to the appropriate executive management and the Audit Committee.
