Courses of StudySaint Louis University School of Nursing offers full-time and part-time study for the PhD nursing program:
- Full-time: Features most nursing classes are offered on Friday mornings and afternoons during fall and spring semesters. An additional course during the week in the late afternoon or early evening may be required. The schedule time for the class takes in consideration students in different time zones, as necessary. Also, the first summer offers two shorter courses.
- Part-time: Features usually two courses each semester for fall and spring semesters
Program requirements are the same whether you choose to study on-campus or use real-time Web technology to join classes. Only the method of course delivery varies. Students at a distance may find that their area of concentration may focus on the nurse educator role because not all departments at the University off online courses. However, there is some flexibility to take individual courses from other departments.
Prospective students are encouraged to discuss their options with the director of the PhD nursing program.
