Enrollment and Retention Management Departments
The Division of Enrollment and Retention Management employs over 175 employees in the following departments: Undergraduate Admission, Student Financial Services, the University Registrar, and Student Educational Services.
The Office of Admission helps prospective undergraduate and graduate students with the admission process through tours, daily information sessions and special events on and off of campus. You will also see members of the admission office staff at high schools, college fairs, career fairs and receptions throughout the nation. SLU admission staff help and communicate with students and families from the time they become interested in the University until they are a proud Billiken.
Enrollment Outreach and Territory Development
The Office of Enrollment Outreach and Territory Development identifies, investigates and develops new program, recruitment and marketing strategies in conjunction with the other areas of enrollment and retention management and in collaboration with university academic and student support units.
Office of the University Registrar
The Office of the University Registrar is responsible for registration, changes of registration, the online update and production of the schedule of classes, maintenance of academic records and transcripts, enrollment verifications, graduation, academic room scheduling, criminal background checks, external testing services, academic catalogs and the academic calendar.
Student Educational Services
Student Educational Services
Attuned to the needs of students who benefit from enhanced educational opportunity, Student Educational Services fosters academic excellence for Saint Louis University Students and the surrounding community. To accomplish this mission, SES hosts key resources and programs, especially the TRIO programs of educational opportunity funded by grants from the U.S. Department of Education.
The Office of International Services enriches the academic experience of the campus and surrounding community through promotion of a global perspective in the University's educational programs, recruitment and admission of international students, development of international education and exchange opportunities.
Student Financial Services
The Office of Student Financial Services is dedicated to assisting students finance their education. In a student-centered environment, outreach, financial aid counseling, eligibility determination, and processing are combined with billing, payment planning, loan collections and financial literacy programs to offer affordability options and equitable distribution of funds. The funding sources could be federal, state, institutional or private based, and are in the forms of grants, scholarships, loans and work. The services are provided with the highest of integrity and concern for the students' needs as well as compliance requirements. As a central office undergraduate, graduate and professional students utilize services with each student being assigned a specific counselor.
