"Our greatest wealth is our health." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Wellness is a journey in which there is no finish line. It is comprised of six dimensions that include: Physical, Intellectual, Spiritual, Occupational (Academic), Emotional, and Social health. In order to achieve optimal health we must strive to find balance in these areas.
Our Wellness Suite is located on the lower level of the Simon Recreation Center. If you have never been in to visit, you are missing out on some great wellness services. The suite is open to all students and members of the Simon Recreation Center and it offers fitness center orientations, techniques for managing stress, flexibility assessment and instruction, nutrition education, blood pressure screenings, and a body composition analysis. You can even check-out exercise videos to take home for 48 hours! Call for an appointment today 314-977-7125, or stop by during our posted hours.

Free food samples, menus, and wellness information are provided by the businesses that participate. This year's Good Eats, Good Health will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 11:30am- 1:00pm at the Busch Student Center. If you want more information or are interested in participating, you can fill out the Good Eats, Good Health Registration Form!
One of the keys to healthy eating can be summed up in one word: variety. Led by interns from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, our cooking demonstrations will help you to expand your knowledge of nutrition and create healthy dishes. You may be surprised how easy it is to eat well without sacrificing taste. If you don't believe us just bring your appetite, we usually manage to pass out a few samples. You must register in advance by contacting Khannie Dastgah at firstname.lastname@example.org. All cooking demos are held at the Simon Recreation Center.
