The Office Of The University Registrar
The Office of the University Registrar is responsible for registration, changes of registration, the on-line update and production of the schedule of classes, maintenance of academic records and transcripts, enrollment verifications, graduation, academic room scheduling, criminal background checks, external testing services, academic catalogs and the academic calendar.
About Jay Haugen
Jay Haugen is the University Registrar. Jay joined the University in 1997 and most recently served as director of enrollment management information systems. In that role, Haugen standardized the reporting for academic advisers and helped improve processes for transfer students, among other accomplishments.
Mr. Haugen is a long time Billiken; he has been a SLU employee since he completed his undergraduate studies in mathematics and theology at Saint Louis University. Most recently, he earned his Master's in Business Administration.
In addition to his duties in the enrollment management division, Haugen has served on numerous University-wide committees as well as the graduate education transition team - efforts that afforded him opportunities to collaborate with faculty and staff from every corner of the campus.
