Saturday, October 27th
8am-2pm, Kick-Off Ceremony at 8:30am
Robert Hermann Soccer Stadium
Sponsored by Alpha Phi Omega and the
Center for Service and Community Engagement
Congratulations, SLU! 3,376 students, staff, faculty, parents, alumni, and community members will be volunteering at 136 locations around the St. Louis area this weekend! This makes the 2012 SLU Make A Difference Day the largest in history. See you all this Saturday, and thank you for participating!
Be a part of a SLU tradition, and join thousands of SLU students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and friends for the largest day of service of the year! This year, MADD is going green and the theme will be SUSTAINABILITY. We are proud to be partnering with SLU's Center for Sustainability and the Missouri Botanical Garden for this endeavor!
The day will begin with a Kick-Off Ceremony at 8:30am in the Soccer Stadium, then groups of volunteers will be dispersed to over 130 non-profits, schools, neighborhoods and homes for a day of giving back. Lunch, a re-fillable water bottle, and gloves are all provided, and transportation can be provided as well. Sign up as a group with your residence hall floor, department, student group etc., or register individually.
Last year, 3,118 SLU volunteers worked at 130 sites in the community, making it the largest Make A Difference Day in SLU's history, and one of the largest collegiate days of service in the entire country! Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to live out our Jesuit mission.
