Requirements: The MPH, Joint - BST/EPI requires the completion of the MPH core curriculum and the joint concentration curriculum.

EPI.502 Epidemiology Methods II
Fifteen credit-hours of advisor-approved electives.
Exceptions to the MPH Core Curriculum: The prerequisite upper-level or equivalent course in statistics satisfies the BST.500 Principles of Biostatistics course requirement (3 credit-hours) and decreases the MPH core curriculum credit-hours to 18.
The minimum total credit-hours required is 54.
Students can combine the Biostatistics concentration with Epidemiology. This highly marketable joint concentration provides students with a thorough understanding of the disciplines of epidemiology and biostatistics, as well as knowledge in related public health fields such as behavioral science, environmental health and health administration.
Students who complete this program will be prepared to work on the local, national and international level. Students wishing to enter the joint concentration must fulfill the admission requirements of individual concentrations in biostatistics and epidemiology.
