Join your colleagues for the roundtable discussion of the spring issue of Conversations on Jesuit Higher Education, which looks at "Excellence: Where Is It?" The program will be held from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 31, in the Knights Room of Pius XII Memorial Library.
Light refreshments will be provided.
The magazine, published twice each year by the National Seminar on Jesuit Higher Education, examines issues related to life and teaching on the campuses of the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States.
Articles in the spring 2011 issue look at excellence in the Jesuit tradition and its holistic approach. The issue also focuses on honors programs, and highlights programs of excellence, as selected by the submitting university.
The issue also features a contribution by SLU assistant law professor, Chad Flanders, titled, "Controlled by a Creed?"
The March 31 discussion will open with a reflection offered by Elizabeth Callahan, Ph.D., of the honors program.
Copies of the magazine are being distributed through interoffice mail. Follow the link to read this issue's feature stories online.
