When many of the resource calendars were created automatically, the default time zone setting was Pacific instead of Central.
Individuals who manage resource calendars can easily reset all their event times at once by correcting the time zone setting in Google Calendars.
Changing the time zone setting will alter the event start and end times on each event posted to the resource calendar and on calendars of event attendees.
Unfortunately, ITS is not able is make a system-wide change to set all calendars to Central time without disrupting calendar services.
To check your calendar's time zone and update, if needed:
1. Open Google Calendar.
2. Click the Settings link.
3. Select Calendar Settings.
4. Click the Calendars tab.
5. Click the name of the resource calendar.
6. Click the "Set my time zone" link in the center of the window.
7. Choose (GMT-06:00) Central Time.
8. Click the Save button.
At this point, you can return to the normal calendar view or click on another calendar name to check its settings. After you have changed the time zone for a calendar, check the start times for upcoming events to confirm the times are correct.
