Interfaith and Service Campus Challenge
Saint Louis University is participating in the President's Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge, a White House initiative inviting institutions of higher education to commit to interfaith cooperation and community service programming on campus. The initiative is to build understanding among diverse communities and contribute to the common good. President Obama has made interfaith cooperation a priority of his administration. He is calling on campuses to take the lead, modeling how to build bridges across lines of difference.
The SLU program, Interfaith Challenge: Empowering Humanity through Education and Service, aims to increase awareness and participation for the many Interfaith and Service events occuring on campus, as well as to enhance the connection between them. Click on the calendar of events to the left, listing all of the campus programs that are a part of the Interfaith Challenge - help us meet the President's Challenge by attending these wonderful opportunities to grow in your understanding of faith and act on it through service!
