Interested in learning more about WebXtender, Saint Louis University's administrative document repository and imaging software? Information Technology Services will host an introductory training session from 3-4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, in room 352 in Busch Student Center.
WebXtender is available for any division, school or department interested in document imaging and storage. It provides the ability to capture, organize, store, and retrieve paper and computer generated documents. Customers can search for, access and modify documents through WebXtender Web Access and their web browser. The WebXtender software also provides document level security within a group/member structure, limiting access to sensitive information.
Banner provides integration to the WebXtender product through Internet Native Banner (INB) forms. Customers can launch queries directly from INB that will return the appropriate forms with a single mouse click.
There will also be a training session for those who already use WebXtender from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, in room 372 of the Marvin and Harlene Wool Center. This session will go over new improvements and answer any questions that current customers may have.
Register for either session online. Additional sessions will be announced for the middle of January.
