Applicants for all clinics, with the exception of the Judicial Process Clinic, must have completed 46 credit hours including Legal Profession prior to the semester for which you are applying. Judicial Process Clinic applicants must enroll concurrently in Legal Profession if it has not already been completed. Every student who is accepted into one of the clinics will also be enrolled in a companion class.
All applications must be complete. By submitting an application, you are agreeing to accept any of the clinics or placements you indicated as first, second or third choices. Applications that only indicate one choice of clinic or placement will not be considered for other clinics or placements if the student is not accepted into the only indicated clinic or placement. Remember to deliver a copy of your resume to the clinic office, Room 704
Applications are due by noon on Friday, October 11, 2014. Any applications received late will be considered on a space available basis. Incomplete applications will be returned to the applicant. A resubmitted application is subject to the due date indicated above. You will be notified as to whether you have been accepted into a clinic no later than October 24, 2014.
Please note that some clinics have mandatory meetings or training dates outside the regular class time. By submitting this application with an indicated preference for one or of these clinics, you agree that you will attend these sessions.
Once you receive notice that you have been accepted into a clinic, you may not drop without prior written request and approval from the faculty member who supervises that clinic. Approval for withdrawal will only be granted under extraordinary circumstances.
