Travis Hoffstetter (A&S ‘05) started his college career at Saint Louis University unsure of what major or career path most interested him until a study abroad experience in Beijing helped him reflect on what he wanted to do in life. Now a lead designer for Meta in the San Francisco Bay area, Hoffstetter uses game design to help build the tools needed to create the Metaverse.

Newly named chief operating officer for the Archdiocese of St. Louis, Delaney (Damberg) Clement (SSE ’07) credits her SLU undergraduate experience as being foundational not only in how she approaches her work but also in how she embraces the possibilities that await her.

When Ryan Patel found the Chaifetz Center for Entrepreneurship, he found more than a major — he found a lifelong passion. Today, he puts the leadership skills he learned at SLU’s business school to good use in his work at a tech startup. He also gives back to the SLU community by sharing his expertise as a mentor to fellow alumni and students.
