Top 5 Reasons to Register for Homecoming and Family Weekend
09/12/2024
As one of SLU’s favorite traditions, Homecoming and Family Weekend is designed to reconnect you with the vibrant SLU community and everything you love about being a Billiken.
Registration closes on Monday, Sept. 23 —don’t wait! Sign up today to be part of the fun.
- We make it easy, from free online registration and free parking to golf cart shuttles and other accommodations available to make the weekend enjoyable for all. Best of all, your attendance supports SLU and is a fantastic way to spend a day with family and friends.
- Feed your belly at a pancake breakfast with Fresh Gatherings Cafe + Farm or with St. Louis favorites such as Gioia’s Deli and Anheuser-Busch, the exclusive providers for Saturday’s tailgate. Nourish your spirit and end the weekend with Mass on Sunday at St. Francis Xavier College Church.
- Connect with friends at reunions held for Golden Billikens, graduates of specific schools and colleges, members of the Black Alumni Association, former University Ambassadors and Admissions staff and more. (Additional fees may apply.) Plus, find open houses and tours throughout the weekend.
- The iconic golf cart parade has returned! Led by SLU President Fred P. Pestello, Ph.D., and First Lady Fran Pestello, Ph.D., with floats by current students, this free event is a true blue way to celebrate SLU.
- Attendance is free to many events, including to see your Billiken soccer teams play Loyola Chicago (for those who register in advance), with an impressive fireworks show set against the St. Louis skyline at halftime on Saturday. See the full schedule.
