Student Spotlight - Taylor Stalling

Meet Taylor Stalling! Taylor is a junior at Saint Louis University from Chicago, Illinois. She is working on a double major in American Studies and Political Science. Outside of class, she loves being involved at KSLU where she hosts her weekly show, listening to music, attending concerts, and studying pop culture.

Taylor worked with SLU 101 this summer to help introduce the freshman class to their soon-to-be home! Taylor also works closely with the Black Student Alliance on campus and helps current students feel closer to their peers while forming lasting friendships.

 

Taylor says she thoroughly enjoyed her sophomore year, thanks to new opportunities for possible projects and club ideas. She said she also felt recognized for all of her hard work, which was the most rewarding part of being a student in the middle of the pandemic.

After graduating next year, Taylor hopes to work in the sociological field of urban planning and development. What an amazing future for an amazing Billiken.
