Student Spotlight: Wade Howdeshell

Meet Wade Howdeshell, a history and classical humanities major at Saint Louis University. He serves as the vice president for events of Phi Alpha Theta, the history honors society, and as president of the Classics Club.

Outside of academics, Howdeshell enjoys reading, writing, hiking in national parks, and spending time with family and friends. He plans to pursue graduate studies with the goal of becoming an ancient historian specializing in the Mediterranean.

Reflecting on his time at SLU, Howdeshell said, “Saint Louis University will always be a special and important place to me due to its excellence in both scholarship and fellowship. The university shows a deep commitment to its mission of promoting the cultivation of good intellectual life and authentic compassion for each other and for all of humanity.”

Congratulations, Wade, and best of luck in your future endeavors.
