Tennill Goes "Into the Woods"

Saint Louis University Associate Professor of Music and Vocal Coordinator Stephanie Tennill recently appeared in Stephen Sondheim's "Into the Woods" at Union Avenue Opera. 

SLU Professor Tennill played Jack's Mother in the company of esteemed musicians and actors. She previously appeared at the Union Avenue Opera in the 2023 production of "Ragtime."

About Into the Woods

Cinderella, Jack, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and more cross paths with a baker and his wife on their quest through the woods. Who will live happily ever after and who will learn that magic comes at a price? But be careful what you wish for, because there’s a witch who’s out to get them, and a giant who’s not too happy about a beanstalk. This witty and whimsical show that will make you laugh, cry, and think twice before venturing into the woods.
