This year's freshman class faces a transition to college unlike any other.

To the Chaifetz School of Business Class of 2024:

Welcome to Saint Louis University! We are thrilled to have you and can’t wait to help you get started on your academic journey. The Chaifetz School of Business offers 10 majors, dedicated professors with passion for undergraduate teaching and a vast alumni network that spans St. Louis and beyond.

Outside of the classroom, you have a new campus to explore. SLU was founded in 1818, and our beautiful campus is rich with history and tradition. Check out DuBourg Hall, the oldest building on campus, do some homework by the Clock Tower or head to the Simon Recreation Center to get a workout in. Feel like spending time outside? Our 271-acre campus offers plenty of green space to explore, and some of Missouri’s best state parks are just a short drive away.

If you need some time away from campus, there’s plenty to do and see in the city. Check out Forest Park, one of the largest urban parks in the country and home to the Saint Louis Zoo, the St. Louis Art Museum, and miles of trails. When you’re ready for a snack, grab some frozen custard from Ted Drewes or stop by the Hill for toasted ravioli, a St. Louis specialty

I hope these first few weeks have been a great start to your experience at SLU. While the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic will make your transition to college unlike any other, we are confident that this time of uncertainty will pass, and that your time at SLU will be filled with amazing experiences .

Once again, we couldn’t be more excited to have you, and we look forward to helping you achieve your goals.

Sincerely,

Scott Duellman
