The rules have changed and expanded the eligibility of Missouri residents for low-cost or free health care through MO Health Net.

Through a joint project with Saint Louis University School of Law’s Center for Health Law Studies, St. Louis Regional Health Commission and Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, a helpline has been set up to help St. Louis City and County residents navigate these changes.

Residents looking for assistance can call 888-686-1944 to speak to a trained volunteer.

Expert law students and trained volunteers are able to answer questions residents may have regarding qualifications, navigating the applications and other questions about the expansion of the program.

The line is staffed from Mondays-Fridays, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00-1:00. Voicemail is available 24/7 and calls will be returned within 24 hours.
