The AHEAD Institute
The Advanced Health Data (AHEAD) Research Institute at Saint Louis University is a comprehensive center for data-driven innovation and research aimed at improving the health of individuals and populations.
The institute brings together researchers from various fields and disciplines to help improve patient and population health, advance the quality of health care and decrease health care costs by utilizing and developing data resources; novel analytic methods; predictive modeling; machine learrning, and other methods.
The Institute for Translational Neuroscience
The Institute for Translational Neuroscience brings together researchers and clinicians throughout Saint Louis University who share a common interest in the neurosciences.
The Institute for Translational Neuroscience serves as a focused structural unit for the purpose of organizing and fostering the development of neuroscience basic and clinical research and teaching at Saint Louis University. The center is comprised of over 100 members that include principal investigators, trainees and staff across six schools and colleges from 23 departments on the north and south campuses.
Center for Vaccine Development
The Center for Vaccine Development is a highly-motivated research team of specialized and diversified health care professionals dedicated to individuals in the St. Louis community and surrounding metropolitan area. We promote health for the greater good of humanity through research to improve vaccinations that prevent diseases for people of all ages. The community works with us to conduct Phase I - Phase IV research studies with government and private pharmaceutical companies.
SLU Institute for Drug and Biotherapeutic Innovation
The Saint Louis University Institute for Drug and Biotherapeutic Innovation (SLU-IDBI) is a multidisciplinary association of researchers with a shared interest in drug and biotherapeutic discovery and development to address unmet patient needs.
SLU-IDBI brings together experts from a variety of disciplines to share expertise, stimulate ideas, and foster collaboration. Five researchers from SLU-IDBI discuss this new initiative, as well as their own research and its impact on quality of care around the world.
Center for Anatomical Science and Education (CASE)
The Saint Louis University Center for Anatomical Science and Education (CASE) has been an established academic center providing expert anatomical education for over 100 years. Our students receive training from a diverse team of award-winning clinical anatomists dedicated to teaching and training.
Center for Outcomes Research
The Saint Louis University’s Center for Health Outcomes Research translates research into policies and practices that improve health outcomes across patient populations.
We see outcome assessment and analysis as a vital part of establishing an equitable, efficient and affordable health care system. Our faculty, students and staff solve complex design and analytical problems in medicine and public health. We are engaged in state-of-the-science evaluations of the services, medications, devices and diagnostics that can optimize individual health and well-being.
