Through talks, photos and shared remembrances the SLU community and those who knew him will celebrate one of Saint Louis University’s most notable scientists whose personality touched so many lives; whose generosity helped so many within the Saint Louis community; and whose research has impacted scientists around the world.

The tribute will take place from 1 to 3 p.m., June 9, in the Health Sciences Education Union (HSEU) at the School of Medicine.

As a mentor, friend and colleague Dr. Buller positively influenced the lives of numerous scientists and members of the St. Louis community. Dr. Buller’s outstanding contributions to science are notable in both the scientific discoveries he made and the legacy of successful scientists he trained.

In addition to Dr. Buller’s contributions to science, he was an active volunteer in the wider community, working in his church and with the St. Louis chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

Throughout his life, Dr. Buller embodied the mission of Saint Louis University – striving for knowledge through research and giving back to the community. All are welcome to join his loved ones, friends, mentees and colleagues for this tribute to celebrate the life of Dr. Mark Buller.
