Saint Louis University Readies to Welcome Class of 2022

The days of summer are coming to an end and Saint Louis University’s annual Fall Welcome is just around the corner.

Fall Welcome 2017

Saint Louis University is gearing up to welcome its next class of Billikens and their families after welcoming its second-largest class in University history in 2017 last year. Photo by Luke Yamnitz.

This year’s events welcoming the University’s newest Billikens to campus begin on Thursday, Aug. 23. While traditional favorites like the Square Dance and Fall Convocation return to the welcome’s line up, this year, as part of SLU’s 200th anniversary celebration, freshman will be sent forth to serve other as part of the New Student Day of Service on Saturday, Aug. 25.

This year’s welcome is also incorporating new sustainability initiatives including a paperless schedule option, water-bottling filling stations across campus and recycling containers that will be available on move-in days.
