Saint Louis University Announces Three New Trustees
NFL Senior Vice President B. Todd Jones, Boeing Executive Kristin A. Robertson, and Ascension President and CEO Anthony Tersigni were elected to the Board of Trustees at the Board’s May 2018 meeting. Their three-year terms began in late September.

“We are excited to add these three talented and experienced business leaders to our Board of Trustees,” said Board Chairman Joseph Conran. “Each of them brings special skills and insight that will benefit the University for years to come.”
B. Todd Jones

Jones joined the National Football League as Senior Vice President and Special Counsel for Conduct in April 2015.
He previously served as the Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in Washington D.C. He was nominated by President Barack Obama in January 2013 to serve as the agency’s permanent director while he was serving as the acting director, a responsibility he assumed in September 2011.
Prior to becoming U.S. Attorney in 2009, Jones was a partner with a major national law firm in Minneapolis. He also served as the U.S. Attorney in Minnesota during the Clinton administration.
Jones received his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1983 and his B.A. from Macalester College in 1979. Following admission to the Minnesota bar, he went on active duty in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as an infantry officer with the First Marine Division and, subsequently, a Judge Advocate General (JAG officer).
Kristin Robertson

Robertson is vice president and general manager of Autonomous Systems, a division within Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) that focuses on autonomous technologies, intelligence capabilities and networking solutions from seabed to space.
Robertson joined the company in 1994 and has held various leadership positions to include vice president of Tiltrotor programs and Bell Boeing V-22 program director, and most recently as vice president of Engineering and chief engineer for BDS Strike, Surveillance and Mobility.
Prior to Boeing, Robertson was employed by the U.S. Navy as a civilian electronics engineer at the Naval Aviation Depot in San Diego, Calif.
She received her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of California in San Diego and her master’s degree in international business from Saint Louis University.
Robertson also serves on the Board of Trustees for the St. Louis Area Foodbank. She is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society and the Society of Women Engineers.
Anthony R. Tersigni, Ed.D, FACHE

Tersigni is President and Chief Executive Officer of Ascension, a faith-based healthcare organization dedicated to transformation through innovation across the continuum of care. Ascension is the largest non-profit health system in the U.S. and the world’s largest Catholic health system, with more than 2,600 sites of care, including 151 hospitals and more than 50 senior living facilities.
Before becoming the first President and CEO of Ascension in 2012, Tersigni had served as President and CEO of Ascension Health since 2004. Previously he served as Ascension Health’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 2001 through 2003.
From 1995 to 2000, Tersigni was President and Chief Executive Officer at St. John Health (now Ascension St. John), Detroit. He also served the St. John system as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1994 to 1995.
Tersigni serves on the board of numerous professional organizations, including the National Catholic Bioethics Center, Healthcare Leadership Council, St. Louis Regional Chamber, and the Regional Business Council.
