SLU Ranks Among Top 10 Catholic Schools in U.S.

Saint Louis University has been named the nation’s No. 7 Catholic university – up from No. 8 last year – by Niche, a website that ranks colleges, schools, neighborhoods and companies.
SLU also is ranked as the top college for nursing in Missouri and the 9th best in the country. The rankings were released in August.
Niche bases its rankings on its analysis of academic, admissions, financial and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as reviews from students and alumni.
Nationally, Niche ranked SLU among the top-100 in categories including:
- Catholic Colleges – No. 7 of 164
- Nursing – No. 9 of 618
- Kinesiology and Physical Therapy – No. 11 of 431
- Public Health – No. 22 of 163
- Criminal Justice – No. 38 of 525
- Public Policy – No. 52 of 465
- Education – No. 81 of 790
- Best Professors – No. 95 of 1,603
- Psychology – No. 95 of 1,012
- Business – No. 97 of 1,043
- Top Private Universities – No. 98 of 958
