The Saint Louis University community cares for its own. As the SLU community is scattered and many of our faculty, staff, students and alumni are on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Office of Mission and Identity has created a way for the community to continue to come together in prayer.
Sr. Virginia Herbers ASCJ, the director of spiritual formation in the Office of Mission and Identity, has created a digital prayer wall where members of the community can offer up intentions for others.
The first intention is for SLUCare.
“Thank you for your selflessness and generosity, and may you remain safe and healthy. Prayers, too, for your loved ones.”
The site allows the community to offer prayer intentions for loved ones, joys, hopes, griefs and anxieties during this COVID-19 pandemic.
To submit an intention, click on the pink plus symbol in the lower right-hand corner of the prayer wall screen. Please care for the privacy of the community members by using general terms rather than individual names.
Saint Louis University’s Office of Mission and Identity ensures that the principles and traditions of Catholic, Jesuit higher education, and the mission and core values of SLU are integrated into operations, structures, programs and practices, and the formation of its students, faculty, staff, administration and board members.
