New Webpage Tracks Progress on Clock Tower Accords

Saint Louis University has launched a new webpage to track its progress on the Clock Tower Accords, a historic 13-point agreement signed in October 2014 following a weeklong campus demonstration.

Jonathan Smith, Ph.D., chief diversity officer, announced the new webpage in a special message to the SLU community this week following presentations to the President’s Advisory Council and the Student Government Association.

In his note, Smith also encouraged individuals and departments at SLU to alert his office about any University-led programs or projects that align with the accords. Smith can be reached at dicevp@slu.edu.edu.

The Clock Tower Accords commit Saint Louis University to hold formal conversations about race, to retain and attract more students and faculty of color, to promote equal opportunity, and to advance focused economic development in disadvantaged neighborhoods.
