SLU to Celebrate National Voter Registration Day
The deadline to register in Missouri to be eligible to vote in the presidential election is Wednesday, Oct. 12.
In an effort to simplify the voter registration process, SLU has partnered with TurboVote.
Students and employees can use TurboVote to register where they want to vote, request an absentee ballot, or update their voter registration. TurboVote users can also request text message or email reminders about upcoming elections.
Register or Update Information at TurboVote
If students use their campus address to register to vote (MSC# (Mailbox Stop Code), 20 N. Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63103), they can cast their ballots in the Busch Student Center on Election Day, Nov. 8.
For registering to vote in the state of Missouri, the site works best with a phone or tablet -- the process can be completed entirely online. Those using a computer will be instructed to print out a pdf and then mail the completed Voter Registration Application to the local election authority.
Voter Registration Tables
In an effort to encourage and assist with voter registration, tables will be available for students and employees to stop by on the following dates:
- Homecoming Weekend: Friday, Sept. 23 through Sunday, Sept. 25, outside SGA suite in Busch Student Center
- National Voter Registration Day: Tuesday, Sept. 27, Busch Student Center, Center for Global Citizenship, Fresh Gatherings Cafe at Allied Health Professions Building
