Participants Needed for Knee Pain Study

Gretchen Salsich, Ph.D., PT, from SLU Department of Physical Therapy, is recruiting persons with patellofemoral pain (pain around the knee cap) to determine the relationship between movement and pain.

Participants may be eligible if they:

• Are 30 to 50 years old
• Have had pain around or behind the knee for at least two months
• Have a BMI less than 30
• Had had no previous traumatic knee injury or surgery

The study will include one phone interview (10 minutes) and one visit to the study site for additional screening and movement analysis (up to three hours). Eligible participants, if chosen, may receive up to $50 compensation for time.
