Senior Legacy Symposium Departmental Reservation Forms Due Feb. 13
The Senior Legacy Symposium is an annual event that provides a venue for students to showcase their culminating academic achievements to the Saint Louis University community.
All student participants in this event have exemplified outstanding academic achievements and will receive a medallion that can be worn at graduation to acknowledge their contributions to this annual event.
As a research institution guided by our Jesuit mission, SLU celebrates not only students' acquired knowledge, but also their ability to professionally present and communicate that knowledge to others, both within and outside of their disciplines.
Earlier this semester, the departmental reservation forms were sent out to all department representatives. These forms provide Career Services with information on how many presentations each department would like, up to three, and what type of presentation to expect. Students may showcase a creative piece, oral presentation or poster presentation.
All departmental reservation forms must be submitted by Monday, Feb. 13.
The student submission forms will be sent out in late February for students who have been selected to represent their departments at the Senior Legacy Symposium. These students will specify which type of presentation they will be doing, who will be presenting with them and any technical equipment they may need. Student submission forms must be completed by mid-March. The official deadline will be announced soon.
All student participants in this event have exemplified outstanding academic achievements and will receive a medallion that can be worn at graduation to acknowledge their contributions to this annual event. All academic departments of Saint Louis University are encouraged to recognize their seniors' work and showcase their professionalism before they graduate.
