TechShop Memberships Available for SLU Community

A new workshop and fabrication studio is open in the Cortex Innovation District with free and discounted memberships available for Saint Louis University faculty, students and staff.

The St. Louis TechShop is only the ninth TechShop facility in the country, a testament to the importance and centrality of startups in the St. Louis region.

SLU has partnered with TechShop to provide memberships to the SLU community at a discounted rate. To purchase a discounted membership, please contact info@techshop.ws.

A limited number of free memberships are also available to members of the SLU community. If interested in a free membership, please email innovation@slu.edu.

TechShop is a community-based studio determined to provide the tools of innovation to all. It provides innovators and entrepreneurs with high quality technology and equipment that can be used to bring ideas to fruition, including a vacuum forming system, laser cutter, 3-D design programs and printers, metal working and welding equipment, and different kinds of tools and materials.

Have an idea? Let the TechShop help make it a reality. There are also collaboration spaces for team-based projects and events and training courses to teach members how to properly use the equipment.
