Research Participants Sought
The applied behavior analysis program is looking for participants to be involved in research on the parental perspective of raising a child with autism.
Guardians and children diagnosed with autism are invited to participate. Children must be younger than 18 years old.
The study will be conducted over a one-month time period with no more than five hours of participation time. It will involve parent and guardian interviews, functional analysis, and an individualized behavior intervention plan.
$50 will be awarded to compensate for participant’s time.
Participants may not benefit from this research study, but possible benefits include participants learning more about why their child engages in challenging behaviors and learn options about how to respond to these behaviors.
