Collections Underway for Deployed Soldier Care Packages
The Staff Advisory Committee, in conjunction with the Office of Military and Veteran Enrollment Services, is collecting items to be packed and shipped to military
Tommy Lucas, in the Office of Military and Veteran Enrollment, has been contacted by a member of the SLU community currently deployed who requested care packages for 88 deployed soldiers.
Yvonne McCool, past chair of the Staff Advisory Committee, has a list of items to be collected. The average cost to ship one care package is about $18. Donated items can be delivered to Yvonne McCool in Room 320 at the School of Nursing, Room 320 or Sharon Spicer in Rooom 142 at Brouster Hall. All items should be delivered by Friday, April 28.

- Hard candy (no chocolate)
- Hot chocolate/coffee single-serve packets
