FM Systems to Replace FAMIS

Facilities Services will roll out a new program, FM Systems, this summer to process service requests across the campus, replacing the current FAMIS system.

FM Systems will allow SLU to be more sustainable by eliminating the amount of paper used for service requests. The new technology will allow Facilities Services to use mobile devices out in the field to improve communication and the speed at which requests are performed.

Some changes are taking placing to access the system. The new icon in the diagram at the right will replace the yellow hard hat in ‘SLU Tools.’

The new service request system will be coming very soon and remaining modules of FM systems will be fully implemented later this year.
