Homecoming 2017 Decorating Contests Winners Announced

The winners of this year’s Homecoming decoration contest have been announced. Prizes were awarded for the best Homecoming Banner and best decorated golf cart.

Fourteen banners were submitted and 28 golf carts took part in this year’s Golf Cart Parade during Homecoming and Family Welcome weekend in September. The banner winners were selected by the Student Activities Board’s Executive Board. The golf carts were judged by a panel of judges during the parade. Many entries incorporated the University’s 200^th anniversary into their décor.

The winners were:

Banner Decorating Contest –

• First place – Best Buddies
• Second place – Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow
• Third Place – SLU Dance Marathon

Golf Cart Parade Winner –

• Physical Therapy
