Smith to Moderate Diversity Webinar

The Office of Diversity and Community Engagement invites the SLU community to take part in a webinar, “Best Practices: Preparing for Alt-Right and White Nationalist Presence on the Jesuit Campus,” at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18.

The webinar, moderated by Jonathan Smith, Ph.D., vice president for diversity and community engagement, is part of the Conference on Diversity & Equity through the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities.

The panelists on the webinar will include:

• Monica Nixon, Ed.D., assistant provost for inclusion and diversity and chief diversity officer at St. Joseph’s University.
• Leigh Fought, Ph.D., associate professor of history at LeMoyne College.
• Lulu Santana, director of campus ministry at Santa Clara University.
