Public Safety, DEA Hosting Drug Take-Back Days

Saint Louis University’s Department of Public Safety is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) to hold a drug take-back drive as part of national drug take-back day on Saturday, Oct. 28 and again on Monday, Oct. 30. The Saturday drive runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Monday drive runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The day focuses on removing potentially dangerous and expired medications and controlled substances from the nation’s medicine cabinets.
The SLU community can drop off unwanted, expired or unused medications and pharmaceutical controlled substances in front of Wool Center. A collection area will be located in the Wool Communications Center and in DuBourg Hall on Monday, Oct. 30.
