Olga Arbeláez, Ph.D., Named New Micah Program Director

Olga Arbeláez, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures, will serve as the new Micah Program Director.

Christopher M. Duncan, Ph.D., dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, announced the appointment earlier this month. 

Dr. Arbeláez has been with Saint Louis University for 21 years. She also serves as the director of Latin American Studies.

For the last two academic years, she also served as associate director for the Micah Program. As Micah director, Dr. Arbeláez will share her experience and passion for social justice, community engagement, and academic excellence with the Micah students, faculty, and staff.
