Mindful Eating Classes Offered for SLU Students

A course on mindful eating and developing a positive relationship with food is available for SLU undergraduate, graduate and professional students beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 28.
The course, Intuitive U, sponsored by SLU’s Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, will run on Wednesdays from Feb. 28 through April 11. The class was developed specifically for SLU students with emphases on finding peace with body size, developing healthy perspectives about food and eating and ending dieting behaviors.
The sessions run from 4 to 5 p.m. and the course is free to SLU students.
The course’s sessions are slated for the following dates, times and locations:
- Class One: Wednesday, Feb, 28, Room 254, Busch Student Center.
- Class Two: Wednesday, March 7, Room 254, Busch Student Center.
- Class Three: Wednesday, March 21, Room 254, Busch Student Center.
- Class Four: Wednesday, March 28, Room 254, Busch Student Center.
- Class Five: Wednesday, April 4, Allied Health Professions Building Food Lab, AHP 3046.
- Class Six: Wednesday, April 11, Room 1076, McDonnell Douglas Hall.
