GSA Announces Award Winners

The Saint Louis University Graduate Student Association (GSA) has announced the recipients of its annual research awards and Brennan Awards for 2018.
The GSA held its 24th Annual Graduate Research Symposium on Friday, April 27 and honored the symposium’s top papers and posters by University graduate students. The winners were chosen from 160 paper and poster presentations from biological sciences, physical sciences, social sciences and humanities graduate programs.

The GSA’s annual Recognition Awards will be announced at May precommencement ceremonies.
- Ryan McCulla, Ph.D. associate professor of chemistry, College of Arts and Sciences, is the recipient of the Outstanding Faculty Mentorship Award.
- Kathleen Walkowiak, of the Department of History, is the recipient of the Graduate Student Teaching Award.
- Stephanie Blagaich, of the College for Public Health and Social Justice, and Garvaundo Hamilton, student personnel administration, are the recipients of the Graduate Student Service Award.
