ITS Updating Banner, Some Applications Offline

Information Technology Services (ITS) will perform mandatory upgrades to Internet Native Banner (INB) to bring it to version 9.

The upgrade will deliver a new user interface and a modern design for the application. The way the system works will essentially remain the same; however, navigation, shortcuts, and hotkeys will change.  Banner 9 INB works with Chrome or Firefox browsers, it will not work with Internet Explorer.

The anticipated maintenance window will be from 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, through 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25.

The following applications will be unavailable during the maintenance window:

• ACES2
• AppWorx
• AppXtender and WebXtender
• Automic
• Axiom
• Banner (both Banner Self-Service and Internet Native Banner)
• BossCars
• Cognos
• eProcurement (Billiken Buy)
• IntelliCheck
• Operational Data Store (ODS)
• TouchNet
• WebFOCUS
• Workflow
