Demonstration Days Set for Learning Management Tools
11/01/2018
This fall, the University is continuing with its review of SLU’s learning management system (LMS), currently Blackboard Learn.
The focus of the review is three main LMS tools: Blackboard Learn Ultra, Canvas (from Instructure), and Brightspace (from Desire2Learn).
To read more about the review process, including a general timeline and a link to Frequently Asked Questions, click here.
Beginning next week, all three companies will be on campus to demo the tools, share key features and answer questions about their LMS tools. For each tool, demonstrations will be held on the northern campus and southern ends of campus, with separate sessions focused on faculty and students.
The sessions will also be recorded and made available for those unable to attend during the scheduled times. After the presentations, feedback will be solicited from the community via survey.
