GSA Taking Alpha Epsilon Lambda Applications

The Graduate Student Association (GSA) is now accepting applications for membership in Alpha Epsilon Lambda (AEL), the honor society for graduate and professional students. Applications are due by Thursday, March 7.

Alpha Epsilon Lambda Mission

• Confer distinction for high achievement.
• Promote leadership development.
• Promote scholarship and encourage intellectual development.
• Enrich the intellectual environment of graduate education institutions.
• Encourage high standards of ethical behavior.

In order to join SLU's Chi Chapter of AEL, students must meet set criteria.

Membership Criteria

• Rank in the top 35 percent of one's graduate program.
• Completion of at least 12 graduate credit hours and one academic year in residence at SLU as a graduate student through December 2018.
• Demonstration of leadership through on-campus or off-campus activities during the student’s time as a graduate student.

A $20 lifetime membership fee is required.
