Alumni Merit, Pioneer Awards Seek Nominees

Saint Louis University’s Alumni Merit Awards are seeking nominations for 2019’s recipients. The University’s annual honor is bestowed upon a distinguished graduate from each school or college in recognition of their outstanding achievement, dedication to their profession and commitment to the mission of Saint Louis University.

In September 2018, SLU honored 12 alumni with the award.

In addition to the Alumni Merit Awards, the Office of Alumni Engagement also honors one individual with the Pioneer Award. The award recognizes an alumnus or alumna who is committed to Jesuit ideals, is a trailblazer in his or her field and whose actions have helped pave the way for others. Any living or deceased alum is eligible for the award.

Nominations for both awards will be accepted through Friday, March 1, 2019. Final recipients will receive their awards during commencement weekend in May 2019.
