Billikens' Ford Competing in Cancer Research Vote Contest
01/25/2019
Travis Ford, head coach of SLU's men's basketball team, needs the campus community's help to strike a blow against cancer in Infiniti's “Timeout For The Win,” promotion. Ford is one of 48 NCAA coaches competing in the promotion’s vote count. The competition asks NCAA fans to take a “Timeout For the Win,” or #TIMEOUTFTW in support of cancer research.
The top three coaches at the end of the contest's voting will be honored with a combined donation to the American Cancer Society totaling $600,000.
“I am excited to be able to represent Saint Louis University in this contest,” Ford said. “I truly appreciate the support of the University community and Billiken fans as we do what we can to support the American Cancer Society.”
