Windows Patches Coming Out

Windows patches will be available to all workstations beginning today, Monday, July 1 starting at 10 a.m. The patches will install automatically without any user intervention or pop-up notifications.

In the event that the installation requires closing of specific applications, such of Word, users will be prompted to close the application before proceeding.

Users will also receive a popup message once all the patches are installed, requesting that they restart their computers. The restart is important in order to ensure the patches are applied successfully.

Once patches are installed, users should check that the computer is operating correctly.
