Vigil Set for Christchurch Victims

In response to the deadly mass shootings in Christchurch, New Zealand, SLU’s Muslim Student Association (MSA) will host a vigil for the SLU community at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, March 25, in the St. Louis Room, Busch Student Center. The vigil is co-sponsored by the Department of Campus Ministry.
The evening will begin with the Maghrib or sunset evening prayer, at 7:15 p.m.
At 7:30 p.m., Jonathan Smith, Ph.D., vice president for diversity and community engagement, will speak.
Smith’s speech will be followed by prayers offered by members of SLU’s religious and faith-based student organizations and members of the MSA.
