Student Charitable Giving Study Needs Volunteers

A research study, exploring motivation and the act of charitable giving in first-year college students is seeking participants from students who were enrolled as first-year students at SLU during the 2017-2018 academic year.
The study’s purpose is to investigate the motivational factors of traditional students who make a financial contribution toward a charitable cause in their first year as an enrolled student in a higher education institution.
Volunteer Guidelines
If you made a financial donation to a nonprofit organization or charitable cause during your first year as an enrolled student at Saint Louis University, you are eligible to participate in the interview for this study.
Study Requirements
- The interview will last approximately 30 minutes. This time may vary, depending on how much a participant shares with each response. An additional interview may be requested.
- Interviews will be conducted via phone, Skype or in-person.
Participation is completely voluntary. There is no compensation for participating in this study.
